As soon as Rock Solid starts in 2026 we will be promoting this from when we first see the kids we have about 1 week to get all the registrations back so we can get in on the early bird fee for camp. We will all register through me (Rock Solid). And I will then individually load the kids on the eCamp registration site as a group.
AGE RESTRICTION
Rock Solid is planning to join in with the 1000 intermediate aged young people (School Years 7, 8 & 9) Sorry no year 6’s on this one 🙁 Next year when your year 7)
Held at: FINLAY PARK ADVENTURE CAMP, LAKE KARAPIRO
Rock Solid will transport everyone down in our vans and we will stay in the tent town. The kids will be very well supervised by our team. (Rock Solid will organise tents) eCAMP is simply one of the best camps I have been involved in that caters for Intermediate age students (School years 7 – 9) The kids we take always say it’s the highlight of the year.
Normally we get to promote eCamp at Rock Solid but the timings of Easter this year are working against us. So hopefully I can get as much info as possible to you.

I have created an online version so we can get details quicker. BUT if you prefer to print out and cut off the registration form fill out and sign you can drop off to us at next Rock Solid week. Otherwise fill out online link. (we will also have paper versions to fill out this Tuesday and sign.
Rock Solid meets the night before and sleeps over at the Whangarei Central Baptist Church. As we leave at 4am in the morning from the church. We find this a good way to get to know a full group before we go. We talk over our expectations with the group.
At this stage Dargaville and Tinopai we would expect that you would come to stay at the church as well. We can talk about this later.
After this date they will be charging the normal price of $260 fee

Rock Solid will be covering the transport cost to get to eCAMP with donations from the community. So we don’t need to add this to the $237.
Obviously some campers will need help with their costs going to camp. This is case by case as needed as I do have a couple of people willing to help campers financially to camp. I do have the policy that under very rare circumstances will Rock Solid cover the whole fee. As we have found that it’s helpful for the family to contribute something.
I realise eCAMP has had to increase their costs up to $237. Rock Solid’s policy is we never want keen kids to miss out because of cost. We will find a way to help cover costs through people willing to help in our community. We will however require you to pay something though. Have a chat with Scottie. Even our adult leaders and helpers have to pay the same price.
Rock Solid will then be billed by eCamp around $6162 for our camp fees. So everything towards this helps.
Also we need to emphasise that the kids we register need to be really sure they want to go as it’s a real pain cancelling a registration and Rock Solid will still get charged for that place even though the camper doesn’t go. Especially if it’s after the 23 March 2026
